Global Sport Ventures Co., Ltd. (“GSV”), as the administrator of the Rajadamnern Stadium, values your privacy rights and personal data. Therefore, we have prepared this Rajadamnern Stadium Privacy Notice (“Notice”) to inform you of the details regarding the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any location or through any channel of GSV where this Notice is published, including the Rajadamnern Stadium, retail stores, websites, social media platforms, and any other communication channels. This Notice applies regardless of whether you are a spectator, website or social media visitor, athlete, trainer, referee, manager, camp leader, promoter, ticket distributor, or any other related person.


GSV may update this Notice from time to time to reflect its practices and/or changes in the personal data protection law. GSV will notify you of any material changes as appropriate. You are therefore encouraged to review this Notice regularly.

1. Personal Data Collected by GSV


1.1 General Personal Data
During the period of GSV’s relationship with you, GSV may collect the following types of personal data from you, either directly from you or indirectly from other sources. The categories of personal data collected will depend on the nature of the relationship between you and GSV:

(a)General details about you, such as title, first name, middle name, last name, nickname, signature, occupation, position, affiliation, gender, nationality, age, and date of birth;

(b)Photo or video recording, such as footage from closed-circuit television (CCTV), footage from live broadcast cameras, photo or video footage recorded during competitions or within the stadium premises, and photo or video footage taken in studios;

(c)Contact details, such as address, mobile phone number, email address, and social media details;

(d)Transactional data, such as ticket purchase details, details of contract with GSV, bank account details, and payment details;

(e)Athlete-specific data, such as stage name, city of birth, country of birth, debut date, ranking, status, title, weight class, weight, height, reach, other physical or physiological characteristics, fighting style, achievements, fight history, fight statistics, and behavioral characteristics during matches;

(f)Communication details, such as opinions, suggestions, and matters that you request GSV to address;

(g)Copies of identification or personal documents that you have provided to GSV, such as national ID card or passport, house registration, relevant licenses or identification cards, and bank book; and

(h)Log files containing information about your usage, such as IP address, device identifiers, date and time, and cookie data.


1.2 Sensitive Personal Data

If you are an athlete, GSV may need to arrange for your health check up by a conventional physician, either prior to or during the competition, and to procure personal accident insurance coverage for sports competitions for you, as required by applicable law. In such cases, GSV may be involved in the collection of your sensitive personal data, namely health data, only to the extent necessary.

Nonetheless, unless otherwise notified on a case-by-case basis, GSV does not intend to collect any other types of your sensitive personal data during its relationship with you. Therefore, please refrain from providing any such data to GSV.

In addition, some copies of national ID cards may contain sensitive personal data, namely religious data, which GSV does not intend to collect either. Therefore, when collecting a copy of a national ID card, GSV may redact or request you to redact the religious data before submitting it to GSV.


1.3 Personal Data of Third Parties

In the event that you provide any personal data of third parties to GSV, please ensure prior to such provision that you are entitled to send such data to GSV and that you have informed the relevant third parties of this Notice.

2. Purposes for Which GSV Uses Personal Data

2.1 For General Personal Data

GSV may use your personal data for the following purposes, depending on the nature of your relationship with GSV:

(a)Competition-related purposes, such as ticket distribution, verification and authentication of individuals entitled to attend the event, facilitation of event viewing, organizing event in accordance with GSV’s relationship with you, seeking sponsorships, remunerating you, promoting engagement with the event, and complying with applicable laws governing the events;

(b)Marketing, public relations, and publication purposes, such as raising public awareness of the events, marketing and promotion of ticket sales, and broadcasting or disseminating recorded footage of events through various channels;

(c)Statistical and analytical purposes relating to athletes, such as publishing individual statistics and analyses related to competitions to the public, developing gaming products or services based on such data, and permitting third parties to perform the foregoing, to the extent that GSV can rely on an appropriate lawful basis;

(d)Website and social media purposes, such as ensuring the normal functioning of GSV’s website and social media platforms, and enhancing and improving those platforms;

(e)Accounting and legal purposes, such as invoicing and collection, debt payment, tax-related procedures, financial analysis and planning, compliance audits, contract review and execution, compliance with applicable laws, exercise of data subject rights, establishment, compliance with, exercise, or defense of GSV’s rights or obligations, and resolution of any disputes GSV may have with you; and Other purposes, such as verifying and authenticating your identity, communicating and coordinating with you, managing your requests, receiving services from you, developing and improving GSV’s services, ensuring the security throughout GSV’s premises, preventing and suppressing criminal acts, and maintaining business continuity.

2.2 For Sensitive Personal Data

In cases where you are an athlete and GSV is involved in collecting your health data as part of a health check up by a conventional physician or in procuring personal accident insurance coverage for sports competitions for you, as required by applicable laws, GSV will not use such data for any purpose beyond those prescribed by law.

Additionally, in cases where GSV unintentionally collects your sensitive personal data, including religious data from a copy of your national ID card, GSV will likewise not use such data for any purpose.

3. Lawful Bases Relied Upon by GSV

GSV uses your personal data based on various lawful bases under the personal data protection law, including the following lawful bases, depending on the nature of GSV’s relationship with you.

(a)Performance of the contracts between GSV and you, or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;

(b)Compliance with GSV’s legal obligations;

(c)Legitimate interests of GSV or third parties;

(d)Prevention or suppression of a danger to a person’s life, body, or health;

(e)Establishment, compliance, exercise, or defense of legal claims;and

(f)Compliance with legal obligations to achieve purposes related to preventive medicine or occupational medicine, medical diagnosis, healthcare or social care, medical treatment, health management, welfare relating to medical treatment of individuals entitled by law, and social protection.

In general, GSV does not rely on your consent as a lawful basis for using your personal data. However, where necessary, GSV will inform you and obtain your consent on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the rules and methods prescribed by the personal data protection law.

4. When Your Personal Data Are Required

In certain cases, you may be required to provide your personal data to GSV in order to comply with legal obligations, perform a contract, or enter into a contract with GSV. For example: if you are a spectator, you may be required to provide GSV or its representatives with your general details and contact details to facilitate your attendance at the event. If you are an athlete, you may be required to provide your health-related data to medical personnel arranged by GSV as required by applicable laws.

If you fail to provide your personal data to GSV in these situations, GSV may not be able to respond to your requests or fulfill its obligations under the relationship it has with you.

5. Persons to Whom GSV May Disclose Your Personal Data

GSV may share your personal data with its parent company, affiliates, or companies within the same group, as well as with third parties involved in GSV’s business activities, to the extent necessary for the purposes specified in Section 2 above and depending on GSV’s relationship with you. These third parties may include business, accounting, or legal advisors; auditing firms; financial service providers; distributors; sponsors; broadcasting rights licensees; news agencies; marketing agents; healthcare providers; insurers; system administrators; service providers to GSV; and business partners collaborating with GSV.

In certain cases, GSV may also be required to send your personal data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, or other third parties in order to comply with applicable laws, respond to requests from you or the third parties legally entitled to request such data, or establish or protect the rights of GSV or any third party as necessary.
Additionally, GSV may occasionally disclose certain types of your personal data to the public, such as by posting on its website, mobile applications, social media platforms, or through broadcasts via any of GSV’s channels, to the extent that GSV can rely on an appropriate lawful basis.

GSV will make its best efforts to ensure that the aforementioned third parties handle your personal data with the utmost care. However, please note that the privacy notices or policies of such third parties may also apply to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data.

6. Cross-Border Transfers of Personal Data
GSV may occasionally need to send or transfer your personal data to its clients, business partners, and service providers that are established or operate in foreign countries. In some cases, the destination country may not have adequate data protection standards. In such circumstances, GSV will implement appropriate and necessary safeguards as required by the personal data protection law to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected.

7. Retention Period
GSV will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. For instance, GSV may retain your personal data throughout the duration of its relationship with you, and for a reasonable period thereafter, to comply with applicable laws or to protect GSV’s rights as permitted by law.

8. Security Measures
GSV has implemented appropriate security measures, including technical, organizational, and physical safeguards, such as data encryption and firewall implementation, as well as the establishment and enforcement of data security policies applicable to GSV’s employees and contractors, to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful loss, access to, use, alteration, modification, or disclosure of personal data. These measures comply with the requirements under the personal data protection law. GSV will review such measures where necessary or when technology changes to ensure maximum effectiveness in data protection.

9. Your Rights as A Data Subject 
You may have the following rights as a data subject under the personal data protection law:

(a)Right of access: you have the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal data, or to request that GSV disclose the acquisition of your personal data;

(b)Right to data portability: in cases where GSV have your personal data in the format which is readable or commonly used by ways of automatic tools or equipment, you have the right to request that GSV send or transfer your personal data in such formats to other data controllers if doable by automated means; or request to directly obtain the personal data in such formats that we send or transfer to other data controllers, unless infeasible due to technical circumstances;

(c)Right to object: in certain circumstances, you may have the right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data;

(d)Right to restrict processing: in certain circumstances, you may have the right to restrict the use of your personal data;

(e)Right of rectification: you have the right to request that GSV ensure that your personal data remains accurate, up-to-date, complete, and not misleading;

(f)Right to erasure: in certain circumstances, you may have the right to request that GSV erase, destroy, or de-identify your personal data;

(g)Right to withdraw consent: where GSV relies on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time; and

(h)Right to lodge a complaint: where you believe that GSV violates or does not comply with the personal data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee. However, GSV would greatly appreciate the opportunity to address and rectify any such actions in advance.
