Buakaw Returns to Rajadamnern Stadium to end the year with RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern

Buakaw Banchamek is preparing to make his return to the Rajadamnern Stadium to participate in the RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern event as a farewell to the year 2023.

After a remarkable victory over the legendary Saenchai P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai in a BKFC event on November 4th, Buakaw, known as the King of Muaythai, is ready to shine once again at the Home of Muaythai, Rajadamnern Stadium. He’s set to participate in the RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern, a part of the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS), now in its second year. Notably, Buakaw also serves as the Chairman of the Sport development committee of Rajadamnern Stadium.

The return of Buakaw to Rajadamnern Stadium is scheduled for early December organized by GSV (Global Sport Ventures) led by Mr. Thainchai Pisitwuttinan – GSV CEO, RWS President and Board Director of Rajadamnern Stadium. The organization’s vision is to elevate the world of Muaythai and uphold its unique identity, promoting it as a form of ‘Soft Power’ for global recognition.

This upcoming event is not only a year end celebration but is also anticipated to pave the way for the next year. Buakaw might explore other combat sports in the future. Therefore, RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern 2023 is a must-watch for all Muaythai enthusiasts around the world.

In the previous RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern event last year, Buakaw achieved remarkable TKO against Japanese rising star fighter, Kota Miura, in the third round and secured another knockout against a former opponent, Yoshihiro Sato, at the end of October. On December 9 of the same year, Buakaw faced the promising prospect Oleksandr Yefimenko from Ukraine. Early this year, Buakaw also had the opportunity to face Japanese kickboxing superstar Yasuhiro Kido, but the match ended as a draw due to a cut injury sustained during a head-clash.
