  • Drop your body slightly to load the strike, then explosively lift your elbow, aiming for the chin or nose.

Sok Hud: Levering Elbow

  • For Sok Hud Muay Thai technique, Use the opposite hand to pull the opponent’s head or guard down while delivering an upward elbow.
  • As you pull down, drive your elbow up and into the opponent’s face or chest.

Sok Ku: Double Elbows

  • Use both elbows in quick succession, usually one after the other in a fluid motion.
  • Combine an upward elbow with a horizontal elbow or any two elbow strikes that flow together.

Sok Phong: Front Elbow Thrust

Sok Sap: Downward Elbow Strike

Sok Tat: Horizontal Elbow Strike
